    I prefer the rework Martin, a big improvement on the image overall
    to tone down the foreground reeds; I think you got it just about perfect…

    Thanks for getting back to me on the reworked one. I did a print of the first version and didn’t like the duo tone in print. The second is B+W with no duo tone. I think the second will look best in print of the two

    Just caught up on this one Martin…. Well worth pulling the wellies on for.

    Your initial post would be my favourite. I think it’s the best balanced and I like the lighter reeds in the foreground. What I am most impressed with is the fact that you have made a very ‘busy’ scene, beautiful. There is quite a lot going on and theres plenty of interest throughout the frame, but I still get a sense of calm. This looks like it would an easy one to mess up compositionally, but I think you’ve nailed it.
