So here goes for my first C&C pic.

Chased this fella around the jungle in Brazil for about 10 minutes before getting this shot. Now I could be wrong but it looks like a Red Admiral to me so I probably could have got the same picture in Stephens Green, lol.

I like the way only part of the wings are caught in the light and so highlighted but wondering if others think this weakens it????

Only editing done was to “optimise” it for the web. I have no idea what that does but it sounded like something I should do before posting on here.

I really like the way the insect is half in the sunlight and half in shadow.Very nice shot.
