I have received my D200 today but all the documentations are in German.
I ordered it from Technikdirect (Germany).
Is it normal or I can (try) complain?ThorstenMemberRoberto wrote:

Is it normal or I can (try) complain?I’d say it’s normal enough. When I got my 10D from the US, it came with a US plug for the lead for the charger. You probably got a 2-pin pug with your D200. Must admit, I’ve never read any of the documentation that came with my cameras, so it’s not something that would bother me.
Fortunately, like Canon, Nikon make their manuals available online as downloadable PDF files – just head on over to Nikons European ftp site and download from there (make sure you choose the filenames with En in them; that’s En for English!) –

RobMemberSame here Roberto. Got my E-500 from France with French documentation. But once I registered with Olympus I could download manuals and all else in English, easy peasy. Funny thing is, with the overenthusiasm of a beginner I’ve already taken about 3500 frames before I’ve even finished reading chapter one of the manual
RobertoMemberThanks Thorsten and Rob.
Rob I did same with my Rebel but this camera looks little bit more complicated…. :lol:ThorstenMemberRoberto wrote:

As long as it’s got a lens on one side and a little window you look through on the other side and a button to press, then I’m sure you’ll be fine
richiehatchMemberYeah same thing happened me when i got the 5D from Germany…. didnt bother me as its so similar to my 20D. I ended up just downloading it from the net and printing it on A5 paper…! If ye read through this thread there is a link to download the d200 instructions…:
