camogie action

fordemParticipant
Hi all.
A couple of shots from a camogie game, today.
Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
ProinsiasParticipantpaulParticipantI’m no expert, since I only shot my first camogie game today, but were yours playing on the side of a hill?
Gotta watch for those horizons.
Otherwise, a nice selection of images. Good action, sharp picts, and good DOF.
fordemParticipantHi Paul.
you are right once again about the horizon, even though the pitch had a slope on it , but not quiet at bad as reflected in the shots.
will keep your good advice in mind for next time, thanks again..SparkyMemberHi All
Here are some shots I recently took at the Munster Club Camogie Finals.
I would welcome comments good & bad on the shots takenRegards
Sparky
brownieParticipantHi Sparky, all your shots are good and sharp but really you should have started your own thread and asked for comments there.
Noel.
Green glensParticipantAlan RossiterParticipantNice pics particularly the last one. But what’s with the watermarks? If someone wants to steal your images at this size and resolution they’re probably welcome to them. It’s hard to critique images on composition, horizon, etc, etc when they’re emblazoned with a name.
Don’t mind me…it’s a serious pet hate with me ;-)Alan.

Only reason I put them there was the Topic was Camogie Action. Did not realise I would have to start a new one.

Nothing wrong with watermarks.
People don’t always take images for print, many want them for web usage, so those sizes are fine for web use.
The watermark above doesn’t detract from the image (unless you just look at the watermark). Not hard to critique the images at all, since the images are very clear to see.
