Can a Digital image be converted to a slide

I was asked by a client if a digital image be converted to a slide for projection. I’ve never heard of it before.

I guess nothing is truly impossible but that request is so weird it is almost surreal in concept. Does your client mean can you project a digital image on a screen, then obviously yes or does he/she mean can print an image on a small piece of transparent film and put it in a plastic/cardboard mount. If it is the latter then good night mother, the martians have landed.

    Thats a very strange request.

The easiest way i can think off would be to print the photo the size of a 35mm frame onto a piece of acetate and mount that in a slide mount.

You’d probably have to play around with the settings on the printer though as the presets for printing aceate would probably be optimised for overhead projectors.

    The answer would be yes!
