Can anyone help in starting the studio…

    Hi there…
    it all started from the idea that my nikon wireless flash could become part of a studio setup…
    I have SB600 flash, decided to start looking for another flash, this time SB900 to set as a master…
    then I found this link:
    http://cgi.ebay.ie/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180495501285″ onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false;
    can anyone give me some advice on this or this is just a waste time and money?
    or should I save for a kit like:
    http://www.barkerphotographic.ie/products.php?id=106&cat=47″ onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false;
    probably will need some time for this..
    I needed second flash anyway… at least trying to convince myself and my wife ;)
    any advice on this one?
    maybe someone did try any of these? so some reviews..
    Thanks

    well if you are starting a studio 400 euros or so is not that much to spend on lights and at the risk of being boring :) Ill say it again you cant go wrong with the dlites they are great, never in two years using them have i wished id got something else and the addons for the system is almost endless and they give you alittle cool dvd aswell :lol: the only draw back is you need a power point … but every studio/house has one cant comment on the other choice you linked 2……..

    From a novice point of view, the first link is just a stand and umbrella and yes you could
    use it with your existing flash, but one flash/umbrella/stand does not a studio make :)

    The Elinchrom is a very good starter pack and includes two lights, can be added to and has a
    very good resale value. And if you think about it and go for the ebay + new flash then you are
    probably more that half way to the cost of the Elinchrom.

    Hi there, thanks for your reply…
    the problem is that I have kind of limited space for the studio… so just in case it’s not going to work, 2 flashes will be used anyway…
    Probably I was thinking about the safer option then..
    It would be good to hear some feedback from people that are actually using wireless flashes instead of the lamps as a lamps…
    I know Elichrom is very good and I heard a lot about it. I was thinking about setup with 2 flashes bouncing of umbrella’s.
