Can Collection…

Was just messing around this morning trying to take a still life shot. Have a can collection that I used with some little candles. I think it would have worked out better if I had the candles better but would appreciate some feedback anyways.

I agree that that might not be the best placing of the lights…did you scatter them in other places as well?
I think you could have gotten closer and a little lower as well.
Great idea though..would like to see what else you can come up with with these props :D

Yeah I will try set it up again and try a few different techniques. Ideally I would have liked an old wooden floor but I’m bothered draggin all the cans to another location :wink:

Brianyeah I’d love to see this much closer and lower like DenverDoll says… to that the cans look like skyscrapers with the lights shining against the metal of them…
I’d maybe just show the top 2/3 of the cans and use a pretty shallow dof(god I’m talking as if I actually know something!)

Yeah I’ll definitely try a shot from a lower angle. Suppose I was trying to hard to fit them all in.
