    Well worth the wait.
I’d be tempted to flip it horizontally so the fence leads the eye in from the left.

This is a lovely shot, from the tyre tracks , line of fence posts and those terrific trees all combining to form a most satisfying image. Suffering for your art can sometimes be worth it.

here is the flip . . . dont know if it improves in any way, swings and roundabouts i think.

Very nice shot and well worth the wait
I can also see a square crop on the first shot with the sole tree and the nice sunrise behind. but maybe you need to be closer. I bet you already have a few others from this location

Have to say that I think the first is a better shot although Dee’s idea might work.
As said worth the wait, lovely image.

IMO the flipped picture grabs your vision because of the tyre tracks and brings you into the picture and leaves you stranded between the first two trees. The rest of the picture now becomes redundant, at least in my eyes it does. Your first version allows the viewer to explore all the trees in the background.

Personally the flipped version just, doesnt grab me. It feels, well, wrong :) I love the original, well done :)

    original is better
    at minus:
glow around the trees and the snow too much blue,
    dust spot

    Hi Alan,

    I really like this photograph.
It makes a very pleasant view.

I find that if I cover the trees that touch the frame on the rhs I like it better.

I think I like the original best.

    Very nice.

    John.
