MartinParticipant February 18, 2008 at 11:52 pm No 1 for sure. No 2&3 the right hand side of the pier is cut off which i find distracting. The railing in no 2 is also distracting i think M PixelleMember February 19, 2008 at 12:00 am 1 for me, like the contrast between sky and buildings, nice lighting. BrickeeParticipant February 19, 2008 at 12:00 am #1 would be my choice. Jim sean1098Member February 19, 2008 at 12:01 am Martin wrote: No 1 for sure. PeteMcDMember February 19, 2008 at 2:21 am Ya, no. 1 for sure. The end of the pier makes it complete. Good luck! kenhParticipant February 19, 2008 at 8:08 am NO 1 definitely; the delicate shades accentuate the detail! 8) JMcLParticipant February 19, 2008 at 8:16 am To be completely uncontroversial, #1. The railing in the uncropped 2nd is distracting. I do think the pano suits the subject however, and I’d suggest having a go with the first one, as there is quite a lot of foreground/sky John jb7Participant February 19, 2008 at 8:58 am one for me too- petercoxMember February 19, 2008 at 11:03 am #1 for me – compositionally it’s superior (although it could also work as a pano). Plus I prefer the colour treatment over the B&W.
