Candid of my Mum

Does exactly what it says on the tin, a candid shot of my Mum taken on a boat trip in Scotland.
Edit: The quality seems to have taken a bit of a nose dive when I uploaded it.

I suppose it’s difficult to know what to say about a photograph like this.
Like you have said it’s a photograph of your mother so it appeals to you and rightly so.It’s not a bad photograph but would it appeal to anyone who dosen’t know the subject?

John.Hey John thanks for the reply. I probably should have named it something else, for me the appeal isn’t that it’s of my Mum rather that I liked the expression on her face and the movement of the people around her. I like to photograph people unposed in and out of their natural environment so that’s why I found this one interesting.

I like this, it tells something of a story. There may be some processing options to give it more feel and I’d try to correct the blown hair/window.
