Hi, great shots from Barcelona, in No 1 the large man walking into the shot is a distraction and in No 3 I would of waited until the lady was in the door, that’s just me I’m sure someone else will say different, in No 2 were the chairs empty because they were charging Irish prices for coffee and cake?
Thanks for the comments Redfox. I agree on you comment on #1, taking him out seems to reduce the tension in the shot too. I selected this one from the few I took on the basis of the contradictions and imbalances – it just seemed to make the shot more interesting than a clear view.
On #3, I took a few different shots with no one being there and with people walking past – I felt that door wasn’t really interesting, so selected the one with someone walking in to add a dynamic element and to add a little of a view of the inside. For #3, I didn’teven see a place that was serving, let alone prices! At this time of the year I guess that there ain’t much business off the beaten track.
