This lens is completely as new and virtually unused, comes with complete original packaging including carry case and lens hood and tripod mount.
It costs ?1100.00+ new. I need ?900 for it.John GriffinParticipantGreat lens, have one already, great price if your talking euros, if your talking sterling still a good price, ?2200 in conns cameras.
ValentiaMemberConns??? Aptly named indeed. It’s available from TechnickDirekt for ?1480 incl vat. That’s about ?990. T’would need to be a bit cheaper to tempt me I’m afraid, regardless of the “as new” state. And I am temptable BTW
Not Pete the blokeParticipantlol Valentia, you cheeky beggar! Make me a sensible offer via PM. And I assure you it is indistinguisable from new (guaranteed by me by way of return at your expense within say 10 days if not as described)

Not Pete the blokeParticipantValentiaMemberT’was a pleasure doing business with you Ross. Now will it ever stop raining?!!
FrankCParticipantSo – what’s next Danny – didn’t you just buy a 24-105 recently as well :D
ValentiaMemberShhhhhh Frank. For God’s sake :o
I have just one more on my wishlist. The 17-40 L then next year when Canon release their new models I will upgrade from the 10D (I hope the 3D is real! 1.3 crop would suit me I think). That will be the end of my collecting of the big stuff. There are a few things like ND filters, graduates etc which will complete the collection.
BTW this new purchase will be kept hidden for awhile so please folks, I’m depending on ye!
FrankCParticipantDon’t forget the new bag too – those L lenses don’t half weigh a lot.
Built like tanks some of them.As for the the rest, your secret is safe with the 400 or so members of PI – we understand
steelydanParticipantI have the 100-400 Danny its one hell of a lense, suits the wildlife photographer with the 1.6 crop, IS is a very handy feature, handholding you will see a difference. I also have the 17-40 and thats a nice sharp lens. Bought mine of the Fred Miranda Site and lucky enough had a friend that brought them over in hand luggage. Nice to have a full frame to see that on, but it also works with my EOS 30 ,so I keep saying it all the time ” I must shoot a roll of slide sometime” back to the old days. Have fun with it
ValentiaMemberThanks lads. Just messing around in subdued light at home here the IS is pretty amazing. Only problem is that the lens is nearly too sharp for my monitor
New bag, new monitor ……will it ever stop????
