Just received an e-mail from D L Kirkpatrick Belfast who are taking pre orders for the D1 Mark IV priced at £3,642.99 +vat (around €5,000.00 inc vat) with a deposit of £400 with delivery mid December-early January.
calumet have it on their site Pre-order for £4500

For anywho who was looking for the video made with the 1D – I found it on youtube. It looks pretty good indeed.

have been talking to colleagues who have had the advantage of using it post release…the general consensus is that photographers in the UK/Ireland believe that its not quite up there in terms of low light shooting, autofocus is better….but the american photographers claim its the dogs b0ll*x.
I’m waiting on mine…. so will let people know as soon as I get it what I think of it.
Speaking to Paul of DL Kirkpatrick Belfast they expect their first batch late Jan/early Feb.
