I am hoping to pick up the MKII or MKIIn over next few weeks… Would be interested to hear peoples views on how it works for them or even any advice as to where to pick one up..
I know should get it in the US but dont have the time to go over at the minute.I have tried all the bricks and mortar stores here in Ireland…
Thanks
miniscottParticipantI used a 20d for many years, I had been feeling limited by this camera and disappointed with the pixilation in low light and flash photos. After a lot of research I recently purchased a second hand 1d MK11 n. I have found this camera to be absolutely great. It is a little bulky, but it’s performance makes up for this. I find the auto focus, High ISO quality, High Speed, 1.3 crop (instead of the 1.6), ease of use, etc. All brilliant.
They do come up for sale in the classified, but it is worth waiting for a good example.
Hope this helps

I did the very same 20D to 1D mark 11 N
WOW What a pease of kit.YermanParticipantI have a EOS D1 Mark 11 for sale on the equipment sale page of this site, It was my main camera for 14 months until I purchased a D1 Mark 111, it was only used then as a back up.
guthrijParticipantThe LCD screen is a bit small and dated on the Mk II a bit better on the MkIIn but they are both fine cameras. Superb build quality. You can pick one up on Ebay for a reasonable price. Don’t get hung up on the number of shutter actuations. These cameras are good for 150,000 plus. Even if the shutter has to be replaced it is not that expensive. Good luck, John.

Have seen this camera and used it. It’s in immaculate condition.
Sean.
