Don’t know anything about the 40D but i have the Tokina 12-24 and lee filter system and I am real happy with them, stunning lens and filters you will be happy with them i guarantee you. Hope you got the wide angle version of the adapter ring for the lee filters to cut out the vignetting

I’m hoping to upgrade from my 350D to a 40D, it certainly looks like a beauty. ALthough in saying that the ever falling price of the 30D is also tempting.hmmmm decisions decisions.

My friend bought the 30D only 3 weeks ago and would not listen to me about the 40D .now i think he is regretting it. (for his own reasons)

I ordered from Digitalrev in Hong Kong, UPS just delivered, cant’t wait to get home.
The manual is in Chinese but I got a link to an English PDF if anyone else is in need

Now I am wondering if i should have gone with one stop digital the delivered mt Tokina in 4 days. Don;t know where I am on the waiting list?

They say that they are considered as an importerI had ordered 3 times from Digitalrev and each time they have marked down the value, I never requested them to do so but they always do. UPS charged me ?96 Vat + ?13 service charge on the 40D which also included an extension tube. They must have marked the value around ?460.
Last time I ordered I got two lenses and DHL charged ?57just got an email saying that the 40D was shipped today FedEx so hopefully be here by Tues. Now the panic will set in
40D arrived today no customs charges,menu was in Chinese but a flick through the manual and set up in English was easy to do..Its a beast of a camera and feels solid, LCD looks enormous (from10D) Can’t wait to stick on a lens and try it out. Will let you know how I get on.
