Hi all, this is my first post so if this isnt in the right areas, feel free to warn me. My question is I have a Canon 5D and I was looking to sell it body only, as im going to upgrade to the MK II, I have seen some standard prices at near 900E. I was thinking of selling it at about 800-850E. Do you think that is an acceptable price or am i way off the mark? The reason im selling it, is the 5D MK II is on sale right now and and I can afford it on the deal its being given. Thanks! Sean

If its body only you could try €750 but I had to sell mine for €650 only 4 weeks ago after having it
for sale for about 6 months. They are a great camera but as a newer model has just been announced
the price of the older model drops. Start is off at €850 and see do you get any interest but be prepared
to go lower to sell.Noel.
Thanks for that reply, will try at 850E on DoneDeal and will put O.N.O., also i was wondering does the 5D battery grip work with the MK II? If not ill be putting in the grip, 3 batteries extra. Would that boost the price up?
As a sales pitch you can always say that some of the most well known photo-journos and photographers, such as David Burnett, seem be in no immediate rush changing from a 5D. – If it works, it works, right?

Just curious to know how much you got for this camera in the end. Thinking of selling mine too but only if I get a decent price for it :D
