Canon 5D low light capabilities

This is just a snapshot of my young son Michael, taken to test the capabilities of the 5D with high ISO settings in indoors environment – fill in flash set to minus 1 stop. ISO 1250 handheld, shutter speed 1/15sec f5.6, 117mm (Canon 28-135IS lens).
The lack of noise is fantastic. I am enjoying my first full day with the 5D.

Nice low noise shot there. I recently read that the 5D is called the “Queen of the Dark” :wink:
I would really really really love to know your impressions of that 28-135 on the 5D.
I have that lens and while it is not brilliant, it is reasonably good on my 350D.My SSIA account matures next April and it is singing a very sweet Canon 5D/7D song at the moment. :lol:
