Canon Announces EOS 50D

This looks rather like the 20D -> 30D incremental improvement of a few years back. Some interesting features, but I can’t help thinking that they will have left a lot of 40D users feeling miffed. And still no word of a 5D replacement :(
I suppose one bit of good news is the price drop of the 40D – means I can sell the 20D and pick up a second 40D for less! :D
Was reading the specs and review over at http://www.dpreview.com this morning. Nothing to write home about on this one. New processor though… the expectation for many is that it will perform well at High ISOs like the recent Nikons.
It looks like the 50D preforms pretty well at noise handling
