Canon camera repair, where????

My built in flash is gone on my 50e, its no biggy but its handy, whats the story with getting this fixed who does canon in Ireland or do i have to send to England, is it worth while cost wise.

although it might be cheaper to pick up a second hand camera on ebay than getting it fixed.Two relevant pieces of info from me…
The built-in flash on my 300V stopped working soon after I got it. Got it replaced by Alan at Camera Repair Centre (Portobello Harbour, D8, 01 4781638) for I think EUR50, probably not far off what another would have cost, but I didn’t really want another one and can’t sell/give away this one with a broken flash!
Also, 50E’s regularly go for under ?50 on eBay. I think mine cost me ?40 plus about ?9 postage but I’ve seen them go for less.
