Canon EF 180mm f3.5L Macro

i have a problem with the above lense, its getting stuck around magnification 1 / 1 and it won’t refocus again at any other range.you can hear the lense try to refocus but nothing is happening . it sounds like the lenses are getting stuck, where is the best palce to get this looked at or is there an easier way to fix it
you’ve probably already checked for this, but is there s switch on the lens that is for macro shooting, looks like the autofocus/manual focus switch, but for macro or non macro shooting. if so and you can’t get the macro switch to move, you may need to switch to manual focus and manually focus in one direction or the other until you can move the switch.

bethdid you move the macro switch (might also be the focusing distance switch..) its right next to the af/mf switch.
bethi’ve tried that as well the only way that i can get the internal glass elements to move is by tilting the lense at a certain angle while half pressing the camera button this only happens while the magnification is near 1:1
