400 euro or thereabouts for something in very good condition.
The situation is I have a 450D, with 18-55 kit lens and a 50mm 1.8, photographing a mix of landscapes and informal people shots, mostly for sharing around but some to hang on the wall. Looking to move to a better zoom, and am thinking that making a big step now would be better than going for something mid range and then replacing again later.
Thinking of getting 17-55 or 17-40 now and telephoto later, or, from a completely different angle, have also been advised to look at the 28-135mm IS. Different kettle of fish entirely, but apparently a good all-rounder. In that case would probably match with a 10-20ish from Sigma or Tamron.
I have the 17-55 2.8 lens. I,m not using it that much anymore since I moved to mostly full frame. Couldnt sell it for less than €550 though, it is a top class lens. If the price suits contact me.
