Canon EOS 1DS Mk 3 card reading problem.

after a shoot I put card (CF) in card reader in the PC and nothing happens, no reading I then put card back in camera ( Canon EOS 1DS Mk3) and it now says card needs to be formatted. I have tried six different cards (all formatted many times) and three different card readers so it must be a camera fault can anyone help ( thankfully I have the images on the SD backup card.)….Thanks you . Are the pins bent inside either the card reader or the camera? I’ve seen this problem with students cameras before, if a single pin is bent then pushing the card fully home flattens it. In cases like this data gets corrupted as it’s written to the card,

No all the pins are perfect, but its something to remember for the future.
