It look like Amazon.com have leeked info on the new Canon Cameras.

Very interesting. No surprise in those specs, if they’re accurate. I wonder just how compact the new body is.
Now I just need to keep rising SNTS (shiny new toy syndrome) in check!

PeterThere’s been so much talk about the new SLR’s from Canon that people are overlooking some other interesting news such as the release of the 12.1MP Canon G9 with RAW mode and Image Stabilisation and $100.00 less than the G7. Looks like a great compact camera and will definitely be on my shopping list while I wait for the release of the 7D!

presumably delivery will be another few months-Crazy that its the same price in euros as in dollars-
And that the jump from 16.7 to 21.1 equals a 624 pixel increase in width-
Interesting also the announcement of a new wide angle prime-

The EOS-1Ds Mark III, scheduled for release in November, will be priced at about $8,000. :shock:
The EOS 40D, the body-only version is expected to be priced around $1,300.
