Canon EOS 40D for sale

Hey All, I’m selling my beloved EOS 40D to get a 7D before I go to Africa for a year to work in marine biology and fork out a grand on dive housing for it (if any one has any recommendations for dive huosing for the 7D give me a shout!).
This camera is a really nice step up from the 450D or 550D etc and would be a better purchase second hand than a new 1000 or 550D.
It’s a magnesium alloy body and very similar in spec to the 50D (which I priced today in shops for €850 body only). It captures at up to 6.3fps (fantastic for wildlife, sports, kids etc). I’ve really enjoyed owning this camera and it has taken me from beginner using auto functions through to full manual control.I’m looking for €550 ono body only. I’m keeping the lenses for the 7D body but there are many available from canon and lens manufacturers such as sigma and tokina so you can fit it out with what will suit you and build your kit. I havn’t got the box cos i threw if out last week when i moved house (possibly i should have kept it huh!), but i bought the camera new about 18mths ago and it is in immaculate condition as it is one of my most adored possessions. Battery, charger, strap, discs, manuals, etc included
