Canon EOS50D & CS2…

Does anyone know if Adobe have a Camera Raw update to open RAW files from a Canon Eos 50D into Photoshop CS2?
Or is there a back door to get the files into Photoshop CS2 to adjust.

you could use canon DPP to convert them to tiffs that you could edit in photoshop

    Thanks Steve.
Am doing that already but am trying to get them into Camera RAW so that I have greater scope for adjusting.
It’s looking like I’ll have to photograph in JPEG until such time as Adobe bring out an update for CS2.

    Cheers.

Adobe are now on CS4; they don’t upgrade CS2 or CS3 anymore. The 50D is too new for CS2 and it’s camera
raw — you won’t be able to use camera raw.

You can convert CR2 to dng with Adobe’s free dng converter, and then edit them in ACR.
You can also set preferences to open jpgs and tifs with ACR.
