Canon Powershot A570 video problem

Hi all,

I wonder if anyone can help me. when I record video on my canon powershot, although the card can take 13 minutes or more in compact mode, after three minutes the recording stops. in standard mode it also stops automatically after three minutes. I don’t have the original manuel. Any ideas?

but according to the manual shooting is restricted to 4gb in standard mode, 1 minute at fast frame rate and 3 minutes at compact mode
