I need the money :( so up for sale is my DSLR backup camera and my backup Kite camera
Canon powershot G3
The G3 comes with the canon extension tube for 58mm filters and i will throw in my 58mm hoya R72 infrared filter and comes with box manuals and charger and 2 compact flash cards one of which is 1gb
Also included is a wideangle converter lens not a canon one it is a 4megapixel camera but dont let that put you off the sensor is relativelarge in these cameras and yield better results than the 6mega pixel c60 below.
The G3 has an f2.0 lens and almost all the the features of a digital slr so you have manual/aperture/shutter priority plus some scene presets and even has a built in neutral density filter which you activate from the menus yes a built in ND filter how flipping cool is that.
Also you can shoot in RAW (RAW and JPG or just JPG) with this (did i mention cool?) and it has a remote control (did i mention cool?)
So if you want to give photography a go but dont want to cough up for a full blown slr this is for you when you outgrow this then get an slr :) (personal opinion)
Olympus c-60
This is a standard compact camera which has a live view histogram and was bought to be my backup kite camera and as such has been flown just twice and has not been bumped on the ground like the primary camera has been (which is a canon s60) and comes with a charger and several xd cards giving you something like 1.5 gb of storage no manuals or discs you dont need them they are on line and the camera can be unloaded using the usb cable with no drivers anyway.Make me some serious offers guys (i can do begging too) say 35 euro for the oly and 80 for the canon.

pictures from the G3
PitmaticMemberI also have an intervalometer for the G3 this is a gadget which allows you to leave the camera taking photos untill it runs out of memory on its own for doing time lapse imagery or just to get a shot of birs on the birdtable nice and close without scaring them (or being out in the cold yourself :)
I am also throwing that in too with the G3 come on you know you want to :)
seanmcfotoMemberMark,
does the G3 need really long exposures for IR?I have a G9 already (it broke after a week though, and it’s still away for repair).
Tadhg HealyMemberPitmaticMemberI dont mind posting but i will have to charge for it as the box will be a bit big
The ir exposures where about 5 to 15 sec’s I never had time to fully explore IR as its great fun and can give some nice wierd images.
Tadhg HealyMemberany movement on this for me?…just need an idea of how much it will cost to post to dublin
PitmaticMembernot had a chance to get the post office was going to check tomorrow ut the last big thing i sent to dubline was less than 10 euro.
PitmaticMemberJust a bump to say that theses are still up for sale if interested please let me know.
