Canon Powershot SX10 IS

Just wondering has anyone used the powershot SX10 IS. Reviews swwm to be very good. One question I have is about the video option……….
The website says……The Canon PowerShot SX10 IS delivers VGA spontaneous video-making at 30 frames per second, ready for instant playback on any HDTV via the built-in HDMI connection
Does this mean you need a HDTV to play it back.
