Canon S95 needs cleaning.

Recently I had my canon S95 in a dusty environment and it seems to have collected some dust on the sensor, its pretty unuseable at this stage and I can;t find anyone that would clean it for me. I’ve tried the air blower but that didn’t help much, next is a can of compressed air. :D .
Hoping I can get it fixed as it is a great little camera.

Hi Dave, have you contacted Canon.ie? Might give you some guidence or be able to clean it for you!
Good luck, I had the S90, great camera, before changing to the Panosonic LX7!!

Hi contacted canon and they gave me a number for a company in Dublin but they only clean DSLR’s, hopefully I can get it done elsewhere.

Dave one suggestion I’ve seen is to hold a vacumn over the lens while turning it on and off? Might be worth a try!

Excellent suggestion, I’ll try that when I get home this evening. You wouldn’t believe I only got a new hoover the other day. :D
