Canon Speedlite 580MkII

Hi everyone,
After asking advice on flashes on here and doing some research I’ve decided to get a Canon speedlite 580 MkII
Before shelling out for a new one I though I’d chance my arm and see if anyone has one they’re looking to get rid of?

To be honest the 580 EXII has only recently replaced the 580 EX so you will
have a tough job getting a used model.Alan

I have a Canon speedlite 580 MkI I am selling. Its in mint condition and boxed.
If you interested I’m in Naas, Co.Kildare.
I’m looking for about €350. I’m also selling a Canon 17-40mm f4 zoom.

Paul: Thanks for the offer. The MkII is available to buy new online, under warranty, for €320 so I’ll decline the offer and save a little for the new one.

Just remember if you are buying the flash from inside the EU
you will have to pay delivery and if you are buying it fromoutside
the EU you will have to pay between 25 & 30% on import duty
and tax as well as delivery!even an post are holding items with a value over €100 ish
until the tax and duty are payed to them.Sorry to be negative!

He has the 580EX II for about £240-250 + delivery (no extra VAT or Duty) – might be less with the VAT reduction.
With 84p to the Euro at the moment, you should do well purchasing from the UK.

There is no web site, but he does have an e-bay shop (Flash camera). He always offers better deals away from e-bay, so send him an e-mail.
He’s very reliable and trustworthy.
Products are imported by him to UK.
