Can’t decide if I’m on the right track here…

I loved this image when I started with it and I really don’t know where I’m going with it… any thoughts?
I’d crop much tighter and convert to a contrasted black and white to bring out the texture of the boat?
As soon as I posted this I felt the tighter crop would to be the way forward.
I gave it a tight square crop with the boat toward the bottom of the frame – along with the suggested B&W I think I this will come along nicely.Thanks for the input.
