Hi guys,
Not sure if this totally fits in the forum, but hopefully I can get some advice in here :)
I am currently doing a part time HNd in photography, and am working in an engineering company. I am extremely bored with this job, just wondering if anyone had any advice on what I could do for money while I study?Cheers

Karen, its a difficult one. 20 years back I was in that position. I still think you should hang on to the job for now at least. Even though I am doing photography for 24 years, I am full time only for the past 16 years as I was building up the business before I took the leap. Its so difficult to make that change and set sail on your own without the “crutch” of a steady income. I had many sleepless nights before I felt myself slipping into the “comfort zone” I am now in — it took a few years in fact to get to grips with the unsteady cash flow, the lack of security of the regular income and just even getting my own confidence in order.
Its not easy but on reflection it was worth the effort. Then I was probably lucky also in the time I happen to “jump ship”.
