Better stas, skin looks much better without all the sharpening, but, it’s still there… the big blue background, really distracting.
I like her skin tone, I think pale tones in portraits are really interesting (and contemporary too). I don’t know why, but I think she would make a good life (nude… is life the word for it?) model. I think it’s the pale skin that makes me think that.
Thanks Sinead – still not happy with my remake, it’s just another ‘version’ to me, I don’t feel I’ve hit anything particularly ‘right’ on this one yet. The blue background can probably be changed to another colour.

Are you going to shoot her again?
After all the trouble this one’s given me I’d be tempted to!
Seriously though, there may be another occasion which hopefully won’t be as chaotic and allow for a bit more planning and a better location/setting.
You’re second attempt with the close crop on the face, the softer tones and still keeping the blue of the eyes works best for me. The lighter tones work great for the skin. Your third attempt showing more of the neck etc, doesn’t really add anything to the photo for me.

That was actually my ‘original’ from which I cropped, and preferred the crop so stayed with it. I posted the wider shot as it was suggested that I’m close in, and making the hair more of a feature might work – so it was posted for reference more than anything. Appreciate your comments.
