Caught in the moment

    I was at a friends wedding and a traditional music sesion started, I took this photo of the father of the groom, I tried to capture the athmosphere of what was happening. it was a late night with a lot more music. any C&C gladely appreciated.

    Hi – Good composition and beautifully lit.
    Metering spot on for low light & moving subjects.

    Small observation is that the hand is in focus rather than fiddlers face/eyes. Perhaps this is what you wanted?
    A real nice one though.

    thanks for your comments,

    There proberly is too much of the other musician in the foreground, but I think that in some way it protrays what was going on, a very busy pub blasting with athosphere.

    and i did try to focus on the fiddle rather than the player to try to “focus” on what was happening rather than who was there, if you understand….

    Hi,

    I can’t comment on the technical aspect of your photo because I don’t have the knowledge to do so yet.
    I like the atmosphere and the little bit of leg showing adds some edge to it.
