I’d imagine you might be able to get another version out of this that sits somewhere between these two. I like some elements of the darkness in #1 and #2 looses a little bit of mood IMO.

i think you might have lost the contrast between sea and sky that i liked so much – the rich blue and orange are somewhat muted in the second – but still a great image with great composition
There’s just no pleasing some people :wink: For what it’s worth, I think you’ve done a superb job on the second one and it’s a better image all around because of the work you put into. Well done.
Super rework Steven, very very nice.
The only thing I’d add is that if it were my photo I’d have juiced up the sky a little, that said, I love the subtle tones you’ve done.
