C&C on portrait

I was messing with couple softboxes … light, pose, postprocessing, any C&C welcome..:)

i think its quite quirky and interesting… funny expression. is the cat real? its hard to tell as the eyes look so different from each other and the paws look a bit funny…. is it a self portrait?

whats the diagonal bar in the foreground? might be better without…

as a portrait it works ….but …i definitely would have tried to avoid the bar at the bottom or clone it out …….and i think the inclusion of the cat is just weird ! …other than that like i said , a good portrait . nice side lighting .

Thanks Isabella. Yeah, cat is real, was caught and brought into the scene :) as you say ‘quirky’ I take it as I got to the right spot :D
Yeah again, I was trying to make a new pic for my FB profile :D
I get it about the bar – basically that’s narrow coffee table. You may be right – I better get rid of it.
