Charles and Ray Eames short film about the Polaroid SX-70

I never know if this is the correct section to put topics about the SX-70 but I figure the Low Fidelity crowd may appreciate this even though the SX-70 is most definitely not lo-fi (click through the link to see what I mean).

Back in the early 70’s designers Charles and Ray Eames created a short 10 minute film for Polaroid about their newly released SX-70. The film is a fascinating look at a camera that was quite revolutionary for the time.
Especially interesting is the part of the film where they show the inner workings of the camera.

The film itself is a work of art. Whats the update on the film, I bought some 600 from The US, the Uk prices are mad. Is Polaroid 55 gone as well.
Just watched the video. What a great piece of technology!.
Will be onto ebay shortly, although the issue with film isn’t going to go away unless there is a reprieve on its way.
This might be a silly question, but is there such a thing as b+w Polaroid film ?
What a cool link, cool camera, reminds me of being a kid for some reason.
