I’d love some feedback on all aspects of this pic. I’ll put a B & W and Colour, same pic :-

:lol: Very cute, when I looked at the b & w version I didnt even realise that he
had a ball in his mouth! Thought that he had a fat bottom lip and a little tongue
hanging out :lol: :lol: I laughed out loud when I saw the colour version!!

Think I prefer the colour!

This is fab. Great motion shot. I do like the B&W but would try and lighten the eye just a little. I would also clone out the bit of the collar around the dog’s neck and the dandylion in the bottom corner. The colour one is my fav. It shows off the dogs lovely colours. The ball is more obvious in this one too. Again the collar is distracting but not sure if I would keep the dandylion or not, as it is kinda nice, but I still find my eye being drawn to that and away from the dog, but at the same time it leads you into the shot… lol
I would be delighted to have a pet shot like this :)

Much prefer the colour version. Very good dof, in my opinion :)

Thanks folks – very constructive.

I’m working with iPhoto – I should probably look into more sophisticated processing suites.

I also was betwixt and between the dandelion – I liked the splash of colour it gave but it is distracting to the eye.
