An old one, that has had some recent comments and thought I would see what kind of feedback I get here.

A cracking shot, although I would like to see the contrast boosted ever so slightly, to see if it improves it?
Well exposed and well seen. The lines of the shadows and the fence are good lead-in lines which meet, rather than draw your eye out of the image. I wish the nearest tree was more upright, but what can you do about that….

I disagree Brandyman, I think the trees leaning out of the image really makes the shot more interesting. Almost like they are moving out of the way to let the lines of shadows past!!

I would crop 1/5 off the LHS and see how it looks then. I’m at work now so can’t get to photoshop. That would really focus the viewers eyes on the lines I think.

Really great shot, I love it.

BTW, on my uncalibrated monitor in work, the contrast looks perfect. Looking forward to viewing this on my own screen later tonight.

I like this photo. Good contrast and brightness.

I like this image, I don’t quite love it, maybe due to the grass being a little bleached out. I’d me happy to have taken it.
I’d also have tried shooting lower to the ground and shadow, maybe you have.

Thanks all. I know what you mean about the grass Brian, I was going to work on it, but then changed my mind and decided that I liked the effect of the lines in the grass running parallel to the fence, shadows and trees.

Thanks for the tips, and advice. Im new to all this stuff so appreciate all the feedback
