I think, many of us are spending a lot of time front of a pc. I am watching tv, reading news, browsing forums at least a few hours every day… the chair I bought from Argos a year ago was OK in the beginnings, but the sitting surface is very deformed now, and it’s gotten annoying that the back support cannot be tilted and all in all it’s not comfortable and doesn’t give enough support to my back.
Since I have pains in my lower back lately, I decided to buy a new chair and don’t go too cheap with it, so I would spend something up to €300 on it. I saw chairs for a thousand that are highly praised and the one I use at work cost about 600, but I’m wondering… is it possible to buy a cheap or very cheap chair that’s not going to ruin my back?
I am sure, not all of us are sitting on chairs borrowed from the dining table, and someone will be able to help me out with some tips. Anyone?
I had bad back trouble about ten years ago and got one of these, can’t remember the price but it was worth every penny. They come and measure your back and then make a chair to suit you. I still have it but it’s a bit deformed and worn now.
