Check this macro set up !!

It looks like a pretty good set up but…………
it is a bit rough and ready looking considering we
are used to seeing the diy efforts of our very own JB
which BTW always look as if they were made in a factorythis guy is creative none the less.
but on a technical note he explains that to take ‘proper macro’ he shoots different frames, moving the focus and then blends them in PS….
:-SWell that’s a factory that would have gone out of business long ago Cathal…
If only this guy had used walnut instead of sticky tape…
Looks like a good setup, and bright-
wonder if it would have made a difference to put it on more than one circuit?
for not too much more pain, he could have had more control over the lighting,
rather than wrap around ring lighting for every shot…
