China visit

Hi Folks
Just back from China were i had an amazing time.
Wonderful people and so friendly. I meet some real characters on my travels!
This guy was at the temple of heaven, Beijing, were pensioners go to play cards and exercise.
This happy character was entertaining the group by singing and dancing, but as soon as he seen me he just wanted to pose and speak english.
When i looked up after taking a few shots, the whole group of pensioners were staring at me! I though it was the camera but as it turned out everywhere we went (ie Irish travel group) we were stared at!
More curious looks as we took a group photo in Tiananmen sq. A crowd of 50 people gathered to see a group of pasty white people!
They even took out camcorders and cameras!Two glamerous sisters? strolling in Tiananmen sq.
Any thoughts/opinions most welcome

I like the first one………great expression etc of the old feller………..the bottom two have a bit to much head room and I would like to see a tight crop on the “sisters”
I have been to China twice………where all did you go?

By the way went on a three city trip, Beijing, X’ian and Shanghai. Amazing country to visit, well recommended.
I’m just postin people here, but i may put some in the travel section. took over 300 hundred shots so i’m still processing!

Was in Beijing and Shanghai meself this summer. Brilliant trip, very photogenic countryside in that place. Would have loved to go to Xi’an, I was told they have some of the most breathtaking mountain scenery in the country there.
I can definitely relate to bringing back a good many photographs. I think I brought back 10 gigs of mine and my friends photos. Unfortunately quite a few of them very taken while out drinking. :oops:i was with an organised tour so most of my photos are city orientated..
Would love to go back and explore the country without the 40 other tourists!, i did see plenty of beautiful landscapes around X’ian near the terracotta warriorsthanks for ur post irishshagua
Love the first shot and the last shot, would definately cp the last shot of the child with the red doors and pop it straight off the page.
That first photo in particular is super. Well done on capturing his character !
