Any tips and pointers most welcome,I got these before I had to much beer  :lol:Cathal
sean1098MemberYou seemed to get the lighting dead on mate. Since it was the christening, i would have worked more closely with the young un.
Held up close to the parents faces etc. some nice close shots. but as family shots, these are grand.
Its hard to get the family poses right. its just a matter of shooting loads with them moving about. And keeping them laughing, you should have taken these with your top of. That would have had them in stiches…
Sean.
Sean.
cathaldParticipantI got loads of the wee one and a few close-ups also
There was another guy running around with a slr and calling the peoples name to get there attention
while I was trying to get the shots,so I told him he would look funny with a D200 sticking out his ass……..sean1098Membercathald wrote:

Fancy a run out in the morning
PD_BARBSParticipantNice set of shots Cathal, although it would have been worth trying to blow out the background abit.
Also on the first there is bit of a shadow or something just on the left of her butt, that maybe worth cloning.
I think the second one is a great shot, the baby is really sharp and very well lite, a nice family shot.
I haven’t been out since the Mournes, so keep me posted if you are doing anything, getting bored stupid, I would love to get out if I can.
ExpresbroParticipantThese look good to me Cathal…nicely exposed and sharp. I’d agree that the subjects could do with looking a little more relaxed, but I know how it is at these type of events…hard to get anyone to sit still for more than 5 minutes, never mind get them to relax.
The background actually does look nicely blown on my monitor, bu I think it’s a little on the overbright side.
What lighting did you use for these Cathal?
Cheers
Robbie

Cheers Robbie I got a loan of Sean’s lights and backdrop a two light set-up. I set them up one low at 45 degrees and one high at 45 degrees and both on the lowest power setting
I dont have a clue about lights but I might get myself a setcathaldParticipantPD_BARBS wrote:
