I like the light. I would move the can little bit right and up.
I disagree, Roberto.
I’d have moved the camera a little bit left and down. Rather than touch the can of worms
RobertoMemberYou can use gloves….. or just cut a little from the right side of the photo…
AliParticipantEWWWW I almost
After editing for couple minutes i wasnt so bad :) I like this image, probably because it’s the last thing i was expecting :). Nice one.
RobertoMemberNot Pete the blokeParticipantI think you should add a little forked tongue to the worm at the back centre……….
ValentiaMemberYuk!!! Interesting Roberto.
Ali: You have just confirmed what I said on the “Takeoff” thread :)
AliParticipantLOL Valentia :) Do you realise how much courage it took me to even touch that with a photoshop paint brush?
GCPParticipantSaw my daughter with a bag of those recently…….they now come as sweets !
SwordieMemberAli, that’s disgusting!
Now I’m going green. It’s making me ill.Like how you cropped it, though.
AliParticipantKPMParticipantLike the shot – original, a bit sick – would love to see how this one goes (or went) down in the M.C.C. !!
I have to admit however, that I prefer Alisons version – not that I’d ever hang it on my wall.
How many of the little buggers are in the shot? I assume that you suffered for your art and actually filled up a can, rather than sitting them on top of an upturned one – or does this just open another can……….!!
Rgds

SwordieMemberHi Kevin,
There are only about 10 worms used in this shot.
I filled the can with tissue and put them on top, but half of them crawled into the can and the rest tried to jump out!
Those blighters move very quickly, especially when you are trying to set something up!
Took a few shots like that, just placed on a curved white card using window light.
Then I plonked them on the card itself and took a few shots like that.
Then Photoshopped them together, duplicating one shot a couple of times so it looks full.jlangParticipantThat’s interesting. A lot more work behind the scenes than you’d think. Worm wrangling and photoshopping. I like Ali’s version too, but probably mostly for the ‘Ugh’ factor.
