To my shame this weekend was the first time I ever visited the coast of Clare. Suffice to say I’m going back again in two weeks :)

Nice framing and compostion but, IMO, it needs a bit of a boost as the lighting ain’t doing you many favours!

    Agree wityh Brendan here.

I think the foreground is distracting and is not needed.
A 2:1 wide format might be nice loosing the foreground.

A little touch of the Shodow/highlights tool in PS might
release some detail in the cliffs too.

    Nice one.

The Cliffs of Moher is an amazing place. The day is dull and overcast but the photo still looks great

I agree with the comments above. I was there the other day and took a similar shot. I think we’ve all seen so many shots of the place that it has become a photographic cliche and it needs something extra special to grab our attention. I certainly didn’t capture such an image.

Incidentally, I was there about 7:45am and the car park was unattended – normal charge €8. I think there is also a charge of €4.50 to access the cliff walkway – again, the entrance booth was closed but there was no barrier to stop access. So, I was there for about 30 minutes and it didn’t cost me a penny. Which was nice. :D

Nice shot. I would agree with the comments above regarding the foreground. I don’t think it adds anything.

Agree with above posts. Or course It’s not easy to get a special shot of something so often photographed!

    Hi Fireking

Definetly has a calm-before-the-storm feel to it. I like it! :)
