First shot here is really cool.
For the second I think a small crop in at the bottom taking away the sky making a cleaner cut might work better, but still nicely captured.
You had a lovely sky to set the scene off well.
You have some serious vignetting in that first shot-
The second one-
I like the two airmen-
that and the business end of the rotors-
the mechanical bits-
I think the straight on elevation is making the shot kinda static,
if you have any room to play, then a ccw rotation and a crop might add some dynamic diagonals-
It might have been possible to capture like that,
after all, a long lens tilted up no longer has to play lip service to the horizon-
Technically all fine, but it’s nice to go beyond that sometimes-
it might be worth a play with the rotation-
no pun intended…
You have some serious vignetting in that first shot-
yea and it works very well for the photo.
nice shots man, the first is great, great perspective niec composition and good negative space.
to be honest, id dump the second – id agree that a more level straight on shot (although impossible from where you were and difficult to attain unless you were flying along side) the angled shot has too much shadow where the crew man is standing, if the light was more dramatic, maybe then yea but i really think your first shot is the strongest here. i keeper ;)
