Cold shower

I shot this earlier this evening while my housemate was having a shower (yes, he was aware and willing to participate).
Technically it could be interpretted as a nude but I’m hoping the moderator’s will allow this one :!:
Any C&C welcomed.PeteTheBlokeMemberAre you some sort of peeping Tom?
This reminds me of that Clint Eastwood film when he says, “Harry, you owe it to yourself to live a little”. Or something like that.
EDIT. Forgot to say: I like the pic. Maybe a bit of levelling, but that’s all.
pete4130MemberThanks Pete. You mean levelling as in getting the image level or adjusting the levels? I rotated it slightly but there was no right way to level it. If I levelled to the top of the window frame, the window beams weren’t level so it was a best fit option more than anything.
PeteTheBlokeMemberSorry. Should have been clearer. I think it needs a little rotation.
I see you are using PS. Go to filters->distortion->lens correction (or some such) and try warping it a bit.
Well. You can if you want. Or you can tell me to mind my own business. I just like horizontals to be horizontal, but who says I’m right?
pete4130MemberThanks Pete, that correction did make the horizontals horizontal thanks. I should apply it to the original before I crop. I’m too tired right now. I’ve been sitting at this computer far too long this evening! Thanks for the tip!
wjklewisMemberHi Pete I love this the colours are great. I just got some prints back to day from the lab and it was a thrill to see them in print. I think this shot would make a great large print.

FlipflipParticipantReally really like this shot. Its kinda dark and abstract but I dont know what it is that just makes me like it.
MarkusParticipantI really like this shot, especially because it reminds me that I dont see such a motives….
I wonder how you got it in this color but it does not matter anyways.
I like the detail of the structure of the glas and the different blue tones it is causing!
Well done!Markus
pete4130MemberThanks for the feedback guys. I think I will get it printed once I’ve done a slight touch of re-editing.
I’ve tried to shoot this several tmies before with less success. Firstly it was on slide with a slower shutter speed as the shot wasn’t as cropped and I was trying to balance the rest of the outside of the building. I wasn’t happy with the results though, as the movement of the subject made him lose his definition.
The bathroom walls are actually blue, but the light isn’t the stringest in there. I set up 2 remote flashes with diffuser domes low down in each far corner of the room. I shot it at 1/60th second and was pleasantly surprised how the walls had reflected my strobes to give this strong blue colour.
Thanks again for all the C&C!richiehatchMember
