Colours on a Grey day.

I know sometimes you shouldn’t bother, if the light is not right you’re only wasting your time. This shot is from one of these trips, I was hoping for nice light but I soon realized I was not going to get any. I was about to hang my head shame when I noticed the sand gravel looked especially colourful on this grey day. Well I took a few snaps and I was reasonably happy with this one, I know the frame isn’t for everyone but I think it suits this image.

Maybe you could add a gradient to the sky Dave? for me the sea and the sky are cancelling each other out.
