Nice to see a picture of the Comeraghs i think it is the first i have seen on the forum. really nice part of Ireland. Only walked in them once when i did the BogTrot a few years ago, Coumshingaun is a lovely spot.

The colours and light in this picture are very nice and natural so no photoshop contamination here. The Sky is super especially the shapes of the clouds. The middle ground is also nice. The only problem i see with he picture is possibly the foreground it is missing something of interest like a rock, flower, piece of wood or something to give it some interest. Over all though a nice picture of a really nice location

    Cheers Martin.

I agree it does need something. I only did a quick fly by on my way back form Wexford that day so I didn’t really walk out the area to get a decent feature. Slan MJ

I think the cirrus (is that the right cloud type?) look excellent on their own. I’d be tempted to crop the foreground and leave just the mountains and the clouds.

Is this effect caused by jetstreams or something?

I love vertical wide angle images. This is very nicely done. Great stuff, Martin.

Cheers for the C & C folks. I think the place has great potential for landscape photography in the right weather conditions. MJ
