Been playing around with compositing recently. Here’s a couple of reworked photos from last year.

    Her World.

    Her Room.

I like both of them, but I wish the background wasn’t blurred in the second one.

Both shots are really good but the first for me is just excellent!……Its great to see photographers that can look beyond the standard compositions but more over , to do so in a way that results in really good images. How did you do the first?

    Thanks for the comments guys.

Sasar, I get what you mean about the buildings in the bg. It was one of the first things i did with the composit. I may go back and try again.

Rasmith, The first was an image I took last summer on the escalator in a shopping centre. The light was really nice and perspective really good. But the ground was very plain and grey. It’s been on my mind for a while to find some way to add a new bg to it. I came across a few tutorials on the interweb that use the Polar Coordinates filter to do the circle thing so I went with that. Three images in all. Pic of Jessica, green grass and a scene of sky with some weeds. It would work equally well with stone ground and buildings in the circle.

Really eyecatching, I love the first image, she is a beautiful child and I love the
treatment you have given the shot, very original and imaginative. Well done!

Very clever. I was expecting a thread about gardening when I saw the title
and was pleasantly surprised. I bet you had fun making these.
